Our GI physiology laboratory provides 24-hour monitoring for gastroesophageal reflux, motility studies of the esophagus, sphincter of Oddi and rectum, and evaluation of patients with chronic diarrhea.

The Saint Louis University Liver Center is staffed by some of the highest-profile doctors and research scientists in the nation. The Center has one of the world's largest hepatitis C practices and treats more than 2,000 patients annually. Patients with all types of liver diseases are evaluated and considered for new types of therapy or for liver transplantation. SLUCare hepatologists also specialize in treating viral hepatitis (B and C), hereditary hemochromatosis, liver cancer and fatty liver disease. Our specialists also perform liver transplants.

SLUCare Center for Pancreatic and Biliary Diseases specializes in diagnosing and treating all aspects of disease affecting the pancreas and biliary tract, including pancreatic cancer, pancreatic cystic lesions, chronic pancreatitis and acute pancreatitis.
