Cancer Treatment Information

Patients and caregivers learn what to expect during their radiation and chemotherapy treatments. You will receive a personalized binder with information on recognizing and managing treatment side effects.

Yoga

Saint Louis University Cancer Center offers free yoga classes designed specifically for cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers. Led by a certified yoga instructor, these classes teach rhythmic breathing, gentle stretching and mental focus to help participants learn how to ease physical and emotional stress.

Look Good ... Feel Better

Look Good ... Feel Better is the American Cancer Society's free program to help women undergoing cancer treatment cope with appearance-related side effects of treatment.

Smoking Cessation

Learn how smoking affects your health and receive the tools you need to help prepare and motivate you to quit. Finding the best way for you is key to your success. For more information on this 8-week series offered throughout the year, email cancercenter@health.slu.edu. Personalized smoking cessation consultations are also available.

Wigs

Free wigs supplied by the American Center Society are available to women undergoing cancer treatments. Call or visit the Saint Louis University Cancer Information Center for more information and product availability.
